So I got a phone about a week ago, and I am from Alaska. I baught my phone in colorado, leaving me with a 720 number. I called the verizon 1-800 number and asked for an alaskan area code, being 907...they said both times (i called twice at different times) that 1) there were no numbers left for 907 or 2) the server wasn't working.
I'd like to know how that works...? There are NO numbers for Alaska anymore, c'mon! So what do they do if someone from alaska buys a phone "oh can you have a California number?" no. They'd get an alaska one. So tell me,
what do i do to get an alaskan one? I need it soon because all my family up there wants to call me and i dont want people getting accustomed to my 720 number! please help ASAP! thankssss
