So actually no, you cannot set your music as a ringtone, unless someone sends it to you as a text and you save as ringtone.
OTHERWISE... there is an amazing website called phonezoo.com
go on there, register, they'll ask which kind of phone and everything and then you can upload any song you want from your computer (itunes, whatever) , pick up to 30 seconds of your favorite part of that song and then send it to yourself. it is completely FREEEEEE which is the best part!
As long as you have texting on your plan it wont cost you anything. It will be send as a text and once you open it, let it play and then go to options, set as ringtone! and WA-LAA!!
