My school counselor gave me an appeal paper to fill out and also told me to get a letter stating that ive been living with my aunt and uncle my whole life and that i havent had any contact with my parents. so this way, i can file an appeal to be considered independent since my aunt and uncle arent my legal guardians. my only problem is that my aunt and uncle dont want to write this letter for me cause they want nothing to do with me anymore. Could i possibly just write the letter myself or would they find out some how? please help, anyone going through a similar situation.
