Two weeks ago when I would take off from a stop light my truck would hesitate a couple times then as i got going it would start to shake and as the speed increased it would shake more. It would eventually go away in a couple minutes but when I would stop at a stop light the same thing would happen again. After parking the truck, after driving it for around 20 minutes the front driver's side tire was very hot and i could smell a smokey smell. This weekend I changed the caliper and brake pads and now it does not do it near as much but when I take off from say a stop light or stop sign, I can still feel a little hesitation and a little shake. What could be causing this? When I brake it will shake too. Can someone give me some ideas PLEASE!!?? Thanks a lot everyone.

What kind of shape is the wheel bearing in? It could be that, or the rotor is warped, but you said you replaced it. How are the spark plugs? they might have failed when the breaks were causing extra stress.
