i have a ps2 and i want to connect 2 ddr dance pads to the same ps2 is this possible?

Yes it should be able to connect to your ps2 if the pads are made for the ps2. if not, you can try to find an adapter that can connect to all systems. that is, if the pad is made for multiple systems.
