i have a problem with yamaha keyboard 10 POINTS?

I bought a midi cable from ebay to connect my piano to my pc. when i plugged in the midi cable my vista laptop automatically installed the driver. but when i go to pc mode in my piano keyboard. nothing happens.
what the hell am i supposed to do.
