I have a problem with my Acura rsx type s. Why do you think it keeps idling by itself?

II have a problem with my Acura rsx type s. It keeps idling by itself when it is in neutral. When I'm driving and I take it out of gear, the RPM odometer doesn't go down to 1, it instead stays stuck at 2. I also have a cold air intake installed. What do you think this problem is related to, the intake, or might it be something else? Thanks!
