I have a problem with my 2002 Toyota 4Runner?

Lately, the engine fan stays on making the car roar. Plus it is having problem shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear and from 3rd to 4th gear.. (it an automatic) What is wrong with this car?
Plus, how do you turn off the driving lights?
