...entire dashboard lights up? Aside from this problems the car seems to work fine, does anyone konw why this happens?

You have a short somewhere behind your brake pedal, either behind the carpet or on your firewall. Two wires are touching each other that should not be. ANY time you have an electrical issue that is causing anything to happen that should NOT be, it is wise to get it fixed.

Faulty wiring COULD cause an electrical FIRE. This is what cause over 90% of all the cars you see along the road that are completely engulfed in flames.

I bet someone used the wrong bulb in the brake lights or the socket is messed up. When you apply the brakes, the voltage is getting fed back to the tail light wire, which is the same circuit that lights the dash.
