i have a problem with my 1998 Pontiac Trans Sport.....?

ok here's the problem, when driving at around 54mph, it will jerk on me like the engine is misfiring or shutting off for a quick second or even feels like it is braking. I've had my brakes done (pads, rotors, etc.), and i've also had the cam sensor replaced. Does anybody have a clue what could be wrong with it?
 
Your torque converter is acting up.
I had this same problem on a Olds that I had, the torque converter lockup switch went bad.
