I have a pontiac vibe and would like to get a 4 bike bike rack for the back.?

I've been told that the safest thing to do is to install a hitch on my car and get a hitch bike rack. Are there any recommended bike racks for 4 bikes on my vibe? Is it worth it to get a hitch on a vibe? At 4-cylinders, what else can I pull? How much does a hitch usually cost to install?

A trailer hitch mount rack is the safest way to carry 4 bikes. Tie down racks are a pain in the butt and can do damage to your car if not properly tied down. You only need a class 3 hitch which is usually just a bolt on. A trailer hitch mount rack can be installed in seconds.
