The Droid X2 is supposedly coming out for preorder on May 19th and comes out on May 26th. I have an upgrade on June 6th but I don't want to go to the store and see that it is out of stock on that day, or go online and see that it is on back order.
Can I preorder it on May 19th but then just not activate it until the 6th or something? Is there anything I can do? I called Verizon and the helpful lady there said that she could process my upgrade today and send me a phone today but she couldn't send me the droid x2 since it isn't released yet. Should I call back on the 19th and try to get them to process my request early like this lady was willing to do with the current line up?
