I HAVE A PANASONIC SA-PT950 RECIEVER. IT IS SUPPOSED TO RUN ON TV INPUT

On the TV disable the option to use the HDMI bus as "control", this way the DVD player can't automatically switch the TV input and vice versa.

If you don't know how, simply connect the DVD via composite or component cables.
 
HDMI2. I ACCIDENTALL CHANGED THE INPUT? now when you press play on the dvd player, it changes the tv input to HDMI1 but doesnt show anything on the screen or play any sound. its just a black screen. when i manually change the input on the tv back to HDMI2, the dvd player changes to aux setting. i need to get to the menu of the dvd player but cannot get anything from the dvd player to pop up on the tv screen, on any input. HELP!!!!
