I have a Panasonic PV-DF2703 that blew a fuse on the board. I replaced it with one slightly larger and tried to start it up. It tries to start up but never makes it. It then flashes Red / Green (Record/Power).
One note, the fuse was an odd ampage and I couldn't find one (even on the internet) that matched exactly. It was .2 amps higher.

If a fuse is blown, it means that the device is drawing too much current, this can be many things like a short circuit or an improper component on the power supply, when you cant find the proper fuse you should replace it with one slightly smaller. For example, if the fuse was 5.8A replace it with a 5.5A, this way it doesn't let anymore leeway for current to pass. DO NOT REPLACE THE FUSE WITH ONE THAT HAS A HIGHER CURRENT RATING, this could predominately damage the device. also make sure that the voltage rating is the same or higher, because too high a voltage can blow a fuse too! If this doesn't work, call customer support, but don't tell that you tried to replace the fuse yourself!
