I have a Panasonic Lumix Digital camera, my outdoor pic colors are perfect, my indoor is usually amber?

Unless I shoot within 6', before I dump this camera for a new one, is it a weak flash issue or a setting issue. The camera is only a year old. Any suggestions. It does have a button you can push for Intelligent setting sometimes that helps.

Amber is a white balance issue because you're probably under incandescent light. Read your owner's manual for instructions on how to set your white balance to auto. Or how to set it manually.
Either one will work.

Amber also tells me, when using flash, you're standing to far from your subject. No one ever said that on board flash units were strong - because they're not. Their limit is, and always has been,
6-to-8 feet. Even if you buy another camera it won't be any better.

First learn how to operate the camera you have.
