I`m looking into purchasing my first handgun to keep at my home. If i were to order it in store, I would need an ATT permit to transport it back to my home...correct? Im trying to avoid getting an ATT because i heard they are very difficult and time consuming to get.
I also heard that it could be easy just a phone call away..? i dont know....

Someone also told me could buy a firearm over the internet? and have it send to my house instead?
not sure about that one, but i figure i would mention it.

Its very difficult to get any good information, I tried calling in for info however they seem to continuously be giving me the 3rd degree asking questions on my questions as if they are trying to figure out what i want a gun for and why i need it.. rather then giving me information, its very annoying.

At my course for the PAL, I thought i heard the only way to legally own a handgun is to either be a member of a shooting range or a collector...?

anyways, if you have actual experience I would greatly appreciate it.
Im so very confused, I hear one thing and then later something else to contradict it.

thanks
