I have a odd question...

This is my first post on this board. Thank you for creating this forum so people can try to find answers to their questions.

As for my question, I think it may be quite an odd one. About 1/3rd of the back of one of my calves keeps having this hot spot. It is not super hot but it is certainly noticeable. There is no rash, cuts, bites, or anything abnormal. The front of my calf has two moles that get really itchy sometimes. I know these can be associated with cancer but I have had them for well over 10 years and they do not bump up or ever grow. Usually, if I force myself to stop itching them the itch goes away after a 2 -3 days. Seems rather normal to me. This hot spot though is weird. Even when I am out in the snow it feel like the car heater is blowing right on it. It is rather comfortable in that way. I obviously were several different types of pants and no matter what material it is the same. It does not really bother me except I want to make sure it is not a sign of anything serious.

Thanks for your answers in advance!

My wife says she thinks it is a magnesium deficiency. I am going to start taking some magnesium. I will comment back later if it helps. Heck, with the cold winter I need my whole body to be warm...lol!

The only thing I can think of is that it might be inflammation. Inflammation is the body's mechanism for bringing extra blood to an injured area to make repairs. Did you have some sort of injury? It usually happens when there has been a cut or scrape. But inflammation can also be a reaction to something going on internally.

Hi some other people have said things like a chair change has helped. It would need to be ergonomically correct. Other problems include deep vein throrabosis, other blood vessel problems, nerve difficulties or spine problems. It might be wise to keep well hydrated and possibly to see a health professional.

regarding with your concern, you must see a doctor to have a clear view of your symptoms. the doctor has the exact answer of your condition.
