Problem is...? the problem began when I accidentally opened a spam (a random text message--I rarely text) and then all of a sudden the two icons, the G (that indicated a connection has been made) and the paper clip icon that rotates to become the icon of a mail, keep appearing and if the screen doesn't white out first I get even more random text messages.

It sort of reminded me of a virus but apparently that's not possible and what not. Luckily, I don't text much and all I use the phone is for calling my parents and checking the time. But it worries me that every time I open the phone the G and paper clip/mail icons appear and random messages are sent to my inbox--this isn't some symptom for malicious hacking or anything that might threaten my phone bill, is it?
