The other setting work well except can't seem to take anything on Manual, doublechecked,lens,batteries,and so on
you've got to give us more info: Checked the regular: lens cap, fresh batteries, battery and card doors closed properly, lens seated properly? Are you taking a night photo? Meter reading does not move even when shutter speed set to B? Does camera work OK in P mode?
