I have a new found respect for Red Steel

I had only played the first mission and this was at 3:30 AM Nov 19th.

I decided around 12 today to pop it in and do a mission or two.

I look up at the clock and it is almost 2 and I was amzed at how much fun I was having.

Once I got the Katana's and was fighting with those, and sat closer to the TV, I was better with the controls and now I can't put the damn game down.

I can't believe how much fun it is compared to what I thought 5 days ago.

Cliffs: Give Red Steel a chance with an open mind, play it during the day, when you aren't tired, and realize it is hard to die unless you get shot about 20 times.

I would rate it about a 7.5-8/10 But it is STILL very fun.

how many different moves can you do with the sword? are there combos and stuff, or is it just one or two moves? that's probably the wii game that intrigues me the most, just wondering how immersive teh sword fighting is

The only thing that bugs me is the aiming. It takes about 30 minutes to get used to and make sure you aren't too far away and SITTING. If the controller goes off the screen too far the guy will start to spin slowly.

The sword, you have a broken sword to block and a full katana in the 2nd level. I am only to their, but watching the guy play it on the Live Wii Cam he set up, you can see he does spins and jumps and other cool attacks.

Plus with the sword once you knock theirs out of their hands you can either savwe their life, by pulling the sword back, or bust them in the back and kill them.

i dont like the fact that the remote turns you. It should be the thumbstick makes you turn, and the remote only controls where you are firing. I dont like the controls at all, therefore i am playing TP before redsteel

is there any button mapping in these games? so for example if you could change it to make the thumbstick for movement instead of the motion sensor, basically setting it up like on regular controllers where the left thumbstick moves you and the right thumbstick aims/looks
