I have a new Dodge, was told it had a cabin filter, it doesn't, can?

I have one installed in the car, or somewhere else on the vehicle, Can someone give me some advice about this?
It an '08 Nitro, 6 cyl.
If there isn't a cabin filter, what type of filtration is there? All cars have to come with some type of filter, or you're getting air from the engine.. (I assume, don't know..)
 
can call a parts store and ask for a new one if it comes with one they wil have ity in stock if it didnt have one they wil not have it an dthen you type into search box
how to replace cabin filter 200? dodge ?
 
Year Make and Model would help. Chrysler is using cabin air filters in several models in recent years but not all models. They are located and serviced differently based on model platform.
So since we have no earthly idea what kind of car or truck you have I cant be much more help than that.
