would be low cost good tires? With a new car I have all of the new car expenses: more insurance, more to register, new monthly payments; I usually get good Winter tires. I want to balance quality, long wearing tires with price. Is this possible?

I live in the lake Tahoe area of Cali. and people swear by the "winter force" tires. Even without studs they hook up well on ice and snow. Here there under 100 bucks a piece.

You have a light weight front wheel drive car with all season tires standard..I really wouldnt worry about tires...If your really concerned about the snow a 4 wheel drive Rav4 for is a option...
