I have a Motorola Rival (in purple) & I can't figure out how to change the fonts...?

I've had the Motorola Rival in Purple since March, and they market it as a "messaging phone" yet I can't seem to figure out how to change fonts. I'd like to change several fonts: the menu fonts, and also fonts while texting. Note that I do NOT mean the size of fonts but rather the font itself.
Does anyone know if this is possible or how to do it?
