to extend the life.? My mechanic recently has been charging me more then before for small repairs. I had this car for 2 years looks and runs great. I had this mechanic from the beginning. He used to fix things very resonably. Last week I asked him to check why the car seemed to be running a little hot. He checked it out and said he had to fix a nipple like thing on the head or whatever and added antifreeze $115.00. Today I said I thought is was still alittle hot the gauge with the air on going 70 for 40 miles straight was between normal to hot. He took it for a ride and said that the clutch is slipping and needs to be changed $515.00 He drove it last week I assume but didn't mention the clutch. I drive it it seems sometimes a little strange but I don't notice slipping. Should I go to another mechanic? I did trust this guy but now he may be taking advantage of my trust. Whats Up?
