Ok my uncle told me it could be the thermostat so we checked it and took it out it still continues overheating now we noticed a little tiny leak in the radiator so we went to the junk yard and pulled one when we swichted it. It still did the same thing and it blew the hose off of it so now on top of that it wont start now my uncle said it's the starter so we are buying a new one and a radiator tomorrow he also said it can't be the water pump he put a water hose thru where the water flow goes and it's going thru fine what else can it be.

you might want to give a little more data about the car itself. year, engine type, turbo or not etc. you might have had a stubborn air pocket in the head or somewhere else creating a hot spot, could be both radiators were bad, if it did it at low speeds could be the fan not working. don't run it without a thermostat by the way it can make some systems act funny. be patient when adding coolent to the system you may need to let it cool down several times to get the air bubbles out if its a system that has that problem, some are tricky that way.

you probably need an oil change... but dont take my word for it... take it to a mechanic asap
