and it goes? right had no problem until yesterday car missfires around tick over and 2000 revs then clears it self after putting foot down some more. took kid to school today it was fine till it started getting warm

baah nothing mayor to worry about, it is an easy fix

change spark plugs, cables, ignition cap and rotor and thats it

it is nothing about head gasket or blown engine

Could be loads of things. I would firstly get new plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm etc and try those. It could be a plug or lead breaking down. Also, do you buy fuel from the supermarket? My car hates that stuff and only runs well on esso, bp, shell etc. As i said, it could be a number of things but try the easy stuff first. Good luck.

Either a new set of spark plugs, or coil pack (Dizzy cap), or leads, or worst case scenario....new headgasket can solve this problem. In that order...oh check the water and oil first. Oil in water, vice versa means headgasket, but unlikely with a normal un tuned japanese car. Very common with ALL Vauxhalls though.

Hope this helps

spark plug spake plug wire bad fuel so replace plugs add a bottle of fuel treatment that dont get it buy new plug wires does it after id say its coil or plug
