I have a mac and i'm trying to download adobe flash player but it keeps telling me to...

...close all browsers..? and I do have them all closed. The only ones that are open are the "finder" and "dashboard" picture on the dock but you can't "close" those. Please help.
those two buttons are always running you actually need the finder up to install it
