...which book to choose? Any suggestions? these are the authors.

Jane Austen
Orson Scott Card
Toni Morrison
Neil Gaiman
Agatha Christie
David James Duncan
J.R.R. Tolkien
L.M. Montgomery

I need to pick a book that is written by one of these authors. I have heard of some of the authors, but i need reccomendations on which book to chose? I don't want to be bored :) please and thank you:)

I haven't read all of them, but I love Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, and L.M. Montgomery. Neil Gaiman is terrible. (I saw the movie Stardust before I read the book, and the movie is about a million times better.)
If you choose Jane Austen, try Persuasion or Mansfield Park.
If you choose Agatha Christie, try The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, And Then There Were None, or Murder on the Orient Express.
If you choose L.M. Montgomery, try Anne of Green Gables or Emily of New Moon.

I love Jane Austen, but her style is a bit hard to get into if you've never attempted it before. If you do read one of her's, I recommend Pride and Prejudice.

Orson Scott Card. I read Ender's Game and really liked it. It's Sci-fi and set in the future at a space station.

Agatha Christie books are pretty good. They are murder mysteries. My favourite is Murder on the Orient Express.

JRR Tolkien wrote Lord of the Rings. I didn't like them. I think it's because I found them boring. But you might like them. They do have a bit of action in them.

LM Montgomery. I read the Anne of Green Gables series when I was younger. They are really easy to read and fairly entertaining. Action wise, not much happens. They just follow the story of a young girl who gets adopted by an older couple in Canada. They are probably the easiest books to read out of all of the ones on this list.
