I have a lead voice microphone - computer sound low?

I'm attempting to find a way to amplify my lead voice microphone in my computer. I'm downsizing the plugin size and connecting directly to my sound card without anything inbetween the lead voice, and while I can hear it, it is really quiet. Is there any way to do this without buying a amplifier?. Because I spent one hundred dollars on this microphone... worse comes worse, I can purchase a cheap USB microphone but I would rather be able to use this.

It works. But I have to have my mouth pressed against the microphone in order to hear myself.
