I have a 1971 Kawasaki F7 175, i got it for free about 10 years ago when i was 12. It was beaten up by the previous owner. I know the gas tank, seat, front forks are from a suzuki. the suzuki front end fits but not correctly. there is a lot of play in the bearings.
the engine runs, it has good compression, it has a racing pipe from an F6 125. The pipe sort of fits, it serves its purpose but isn't the correct pipe. The rear end of the bike seams to be all original. I rode it a little bit but when i was 13 i lost interest and though it was junk. 10 years later after it has been apart and in boxes im regaining interest; I want to start restoring it.
does anyone know anything about this bike such as rarity, number of units produced, value, or any other info. It would be nice to know how much its worth so i don't put too much into it over the restored value.
