I have a Honda Siviv SI and have problems with a new intake?

I have a Honda Civic SI 2009. I recently installed a new AEM Short Ram intake. I restarted the battery for 24 hrs after installing it, but every 3 days or so the car shuts itself off unless I unplug the battery for another 24 hrs. Some people say that it's not reading the new intake, but it does. What's going on here, and how can I fix this issue?
