I have a Honda Civic Si i want to sell but am upside down..?

I have a 2005 Honda civic si with about 91000 miles, good condition, sunroof, etc. THe only thing is i am upside down. I owe 14000 on it. I would hope to get at least 8500 for it. Do i have to pay the finance company the difference before i can release the title?
