How did geography contribute to the development and spread of agriculture?
I am thinking it is depending on where the prehistoric people lived, it affected the agriculture?
Please help?
Thanks in advance!

I think its "contribution" was in the soils, because since the beginning Men have looked for a good soil to plant their seeds on. Also, plains and valleys are the best to make a good harvest, but people also needed to work with their geographic situation and had to work in mountains, glaciers and even deserts. But Geography STILL contributes to agriculture today, so it shouldn't be written in the past tense.
