...and now again stating panicking.? So I have been avoiding crowds, my college teacher also a psychologist told me I can never get over panic attacks on my own. I need to get him or someone else to consul me. Is it possible for me to get over panic attacks on my on? And can panic attacks ever harm me?

No panic attacks can not harm you, I know because I have had them for years.
Go to the clinic at your college to see someone about this, regardless of what your teacher said.

Make sure you get outside of the house everyday, for at least an hour.

It is easy to become so afraid of these attacks that you end up doing nothing not even leaving your house.

Be good to yourself and take care of this as soon as you can.

To calm down, take slow deep breaths, so that your lower belly rises..breath in slowly to the count of 4 and breath out slowly to the count of 4, do this until you feel calm again.

This will trick your brain into thinking that your body is calm.

I think you can get them on your own if you think too hard.
I get them too so I understand.
I get them when I am over stressed and think too much about unpleasant things.
I'm not sure if they can harm you though.
I've been getting them for a little over a year and when I get them I try to regulate my breathing by counting, but I'm not quite sure if they can do serious damage to you.
I hope that helps..?
