okay my headlights went out but when i pull my switch for my high beams if i hold the switch the highs come on but if i let it go they dont stay on like there supose to and people told me its that but it wasnt. well my actural head light switch was tweeked on somebody that owned the truck b4 me had used hot glue on the wires and it melted the headlight plug and it started smoking the other day when i was driving and filled the whole cab with smoke i thought my truck was on fire but it wasnt it stoped smoking when i turned the lights off i took the dash apart to see what was going on and the switch was fryed soo i went to pick a park an pulled a switch off a 95 dodge ram and got the wires and everything rewired the to my wires i did it by matching colors and matching spots on the plug itself and tested it but only my head lights work... its crazy cause everything that worked before (license plate lights, tail lights and parking lights) DO NOT WORK but they did before and its just everything that worked before doesnt know and wat didnt before only my head lights work now... i aitn got cab lights or dash lights what can be wrong please any help?
