I have this hard, painful lump on my neck underneath my ear. its maybe a centimeter above my jaw bone. Its obviously swollen because it's noticeably bigger when you're looking at it.
it constantly throbs and puts me in pain.
I was taking enbrel for 3 months because I also have/had sever plaque psoriasis. A side effect of the enbrel is complications with your lymphatic system.
I have other swollen nodes, but nothing like the one under my ear.
I don't have health insurance any more, so seeing a doctor is sort of a problem right now.
I caught a cold a about a month ago. Chest congestion, coughing, stuffy nose, the whole nine. The only remainder I have left of that, is a bit of a dry cough.
My ears dont hurt, my throat doesn't hurt, my sinuses dont feel clogged, i don't feel awful except for this throbbing pain in my neck.
I also am experience some numbness along my jaw line.
what could it be?
do you think I should be concerned enough to go to the ER and find out if something is seriously wrong because of the Enbrel?
do you think its just my tonsil?
I'm not sure but some opinions would be a great help.
thanks guys
