and is it possible? I had 6 'Glow Fish' in a community tank and all but one 'red' died. This one 'red' is extremely fat! I think it is ready to lay eggs. Is it possible for these eggs to hatch without a male present? (I just bought 3 new ones today.Not sure if any are males) This happened around the same time that I had a Swordtail have babies(5). All but one of them died as well. I just released that 'one' into the community tank today. How long before I know if it's male or female? It has a female tail but is starting to show the resemblance of a mail 'stripe' developing. Any help is awesome!
