I bought a new house in July 2008, and I am now having some flooding issues because the builder who is also the person I bought the house from didn't build up my foundation before he built the house. My back yard of full of water and there is also water under my house. I was wondering if this guy is responsible for any damages. I have been told that I have one year from date of purchase for anything to go back on this guy if I have problems. But then I have also been told that I don't have one year from date of purchase. I am talking to a lawyer tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about Georgia real estate laws and if someone could give me any advice.
