i have a ford ranger and want to know if i need to bleed the brakes if ?

use a c-clamp with the reservoir on the master cylinder open, squeeze the piston back into the caliper.if someone has added brake fluid some will run out of the master cylinder, so have a catch pan ready. if you dont open the bleeder nipples, no reason to bleed.do yourself a fafor and clean the caliper slide points, then apply some graphite grease on them, careful to not get it on the brake rotors. now is a good time to inspect the outer bearings and repack and tighten em.if you put some grease between the inner bearing and outer, heat will help to add fresh grease to the inner beariung without changing the seal. if the outer bearing is worn, replace inner bearing, race and seal as well as outer works.
