Mine is a 2000 ZX3, I also have the same problem. there has been a recall on the fuel filters, take it in and have it serviced at no charge.

We had a similar problem with a ford and it was because one of the cylinders wasn't firing

You're going to have to get it looked at, could be anything from a misfire to a spark plug
