i have a few questions... gym and diet related?

ive just started going to the gym. i do bout an hour in the gym 4 days a week (mon,tue,thurs,friday) in morning before work bout 20 Min's of cardio and 20 Min's of weights 10 Min's of warm up and down. im trying to get tone and fitness and the program im on is doing that. im eating the same as i usually do and i would consider it an average diet not too healthy or not too fatty. on weekends i don't do much exercise maybe a bit of weights and abdominal workouts.
i have off peak membership so mornings mon-fri are the only times i can go
Do i need to change my diet? if so what should i be eating more or less of?
could i injure or burn myself out going 5 days in a row (instead of 2 on, 1 off, 2 on ,2 off) should i have wed for a day of rest?
