Okay so, I am a drummer, I've been playing for quite a few years. I'm a pretty good drummer and am pretty solid. But, I've taped myself on camera before and have noticed that I have weird posture. like, It seems that I'm kind of reaching to far upwards to hit my hi hat, should I lower it??? also, whenever I drum I tend not to look straightforward, I kind of start looking to the left a lot and bending my back over, and it looks really weird. I also looks like I have shooting arm syndrome. It looks like I'm reaching all over my set just to hit the drums.. It sounds pretty good, but I was wondering if I should maybe bring my set in closer to me, but then I feel cramped. advice please. I also look like I'm bored to tear s when playing lol... except some parts. I feel like I need to play more intense , but I drum in my room, and Sometimes I get neighbor complaints if I drum too long or to loud. so any advice would be helpful......also what are the benefits of playing with shoes on?
ALSO!!!!! My friend and I are playing outside in a very open area, for a movie not for fun though... 1) is this legal??? lol I know it sounds funny but can it actually be fought against??? 2) should I be careful when setting up my set??? like is there anything that it should not gt close too??
THANKS A TON!!!
We are plaing in an area away from houses, but its still possible for them to hear us... I mean they can complain, but If it's only for like 5 minutes is it really a big deal????
