I have a dirt bike question Help?

I want to start riding around just for fun, so i have questions needed to be answered, i want to buy a CRF150R, but i intend to use it for mostly around my neighborhood which is street and just ride around a lot on the road, but i will also use it offroad on like my 3 acres of grass and dirt, so is it good for me? how often do i need to check up on my bike anyhow, plus this will be a first DIRTbike for me, i have had other electric motor bikes which are fun! so please, if this isnt for me, then how about KLX 140 or CRF150F
