cook it over night in beef broth? Should I sear the brisket before cooking it? Should I add any extra seasons besides the package of stuff that is included, and the beef broth?

I'm wanting to make corned beef sandwiches out of it tomorrow.

Don't waste the beef broth. Corned beef just needs to be cooked in plain water with the seasoning packet provided.

I simmered my corned beef brisket on top of the stove for about 2 1/2 hours yesterday. Then I took it out and put lots of cabbage wedges, potatoes and carrots in the dutch oven and put the brisket back on top with some of the original liquid. Then into the oven for 2 hours. It was absolutely delicious.

Enjoy your corned beef sandwiches!

That just makes me weak with hunger.

Put it all in the crock pot, seasonings and all, if you add any water, just add about 1/2 cup, no more. Then cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Man, the stuff you can do with that tender, falling apart corned beef. Hash, Grilled reuben sandwiches, eat a hunk with boiled cabbage and carrots with butter and salt on them, unnnhhhhhmmmmm :)
