i don't want to chuck it(i don't have the $ to replace it) and it worked perfect till the other day.
i know there is a burnt ceramic fuse in there somewhere?
opened the cover and there is 2 large scary looking capacitors inside saying discharge before servicing.
so i short them out with an insulated screwdriver right?
do i keep it plugged in and turned off to maintain the earth or do i remove?
and if unplugged the power will go into the casing then into me wont it? as i would be the earth as soon as i touch it again?
then keep removing the panels till i get to the board. then i find the burnt fuse. then i replace and solder in a new 1. then i replace everything. cross fingers plug into a safety power board and hit the switch.
any tips to prevent death or injury. or service manual.
thanks!
