i have a compaq laptop windows vista business and for some reason the battery

only lasts 10 minutes? i bought a new charger and everything and the battery still lasts about 10 minutes if that. how can i fix this and why is it messed up like this because i ALWAYS have to keep it in charge when im using it. and the battery Power usage thing is on balanced
