I live in California and like I mentioned, I would like to add an Out-of-state car my good Brother-in-law gifted to me. The catch is that I accidentally lost the original documents of the gifted car. I have been to the D.M.V. of California and they gave me a pink paper that basically does a paperless transfer. The thing is I have my doubts that it might help me since it is an out-of-state car. I would like it if someone would help me here since the only contact information I get from the D.M.V. is that for a broken link or that a picture is not displaying properly. Please help me with a few pointers!
