I have a Canon T2i and i shoot skate vids Fisheye help?

i want to get a good fisheye im not really a beginner but im not even close to pro either and to get a 800 or 600 dollar lens seems a little too much at my skill level i was wondering if the Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens would be good? itd be helpful if u gave me pros and cons. i know its all manual but how could this really mess me up? thank you help is welcomed
