if at all possible connect directly into the wall if that isnt possible try to have your pc closer to your router, or try to find a different location in your house for your router b.c i have cox also and the same thing happend to me till i moved my router to a more central location in my house. if that doesnt work you might want to consider upgrading your router with more range..
 
internet connection time to time.? I connect the internet through Internet Explorer. The cable company has come out twice and it's still doing the same thing? HELP
