i have a "button start" bike but it wont start?

The easiest fix for your bike would be to just replace the switch assembly. This would run you about 25-30 dollars on ebay or about 75 to buy the assembly new.
 
i was transporting my bike but i had the button pushed in so now it wont start when i pushed the button i can jump it when i jump the cable going to the starter what can i do to fix the button itself
the thing runs well but i have to jump it everytime i start it
